I started riding dirt bikes at the young age of 5. My first bike was a Suzuki 50. My Dad showed
me how to operate it- “This is the gas and this is the brake, go ride.” This was also my first crash;
I ran into our hedge and my Dad had to sew together my front fender.
My Dad built the track where I learned to ride- it was a very technical Supercross track. I spent a
lot of time there learning to ride and improving my skills.
My first race was on a KX 60, it was in Mankato on a very muddy day, I was 8. My Dad told me
to either get out in front or stay in the back, but try to stay out of the middle with the pack.
That was my first hole shot.
I just got back into racing a lot in 2011 and it was kind of an up and down year that ended with
a broken leg in my 4th race of the year. I enjoy the Supercross series, and I like the Jordan track
the best. Supercross tracks are like what I was raised on. For the 2012 season I plan to race the
Motokazie Supercross series, and get to as many of the motocross races as possible.
Motocross is a good time, and usually the whole family goes. I am looking forward to the 2012
